Affinity Credit Cards

What is an Affinity credit card?
Quite simply this is a credit card offered by two organisations. One would be a financial institution who would normally issue their own cards, the other organisation would be non-financial. Most often this would be a charitable organisation and the card would offer a donation to the charitable organisation based on the consumers use of the card. It may simply be a non-financial but profit making company such as Hilton and their HHonors card offering benefits with the Hilton group based on the card use.

GM PLATINUM CREDIT CARD
Earn GM Platinum credit card reward points each time you make purchases with your card. 3% of your purchases are worth 1 reward point, so you earn 1 reward point for each £33 you spend. The GM credit card also has an online shop with top high street retailers and spending via their online shop doubles your reward points to 6% of the purchase total. Further points can be earned by purchasing in the normal way through participating GM Card Partners as indicated by the GM program. 1 rebate point equals £1 off the price of a new car.

JOHN LEWIS
With the partnership card you can earn points whenever you make purchases and then redeem those points for vouchers. The vouchers can they be used to make purchases at either John Lewis, Waitrose and Ocado.com.

MBNA AFFINITY

SUITECARD
The Suite Credit card is a scheme allowing you to earn points on your credit card purchases and then use them to pay for hotel accommodation with Hotelopia. The card itself is a Visa card issued through BBVA (Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria).
